“My relationship with someone has been a little sour. I constructed this illustration to aid any misunderstanding about it. Lets imagine for a second if you will a boat, “The U.S.S. Friend Ship”. A relationship isn’t really like a boat, but its a Relation-Ship. So lets say, that me and “girl” had a really good friendship going for us, right? And then I ask “girl” to go to formal with me, okay? This kinda rocks the boat, so people start jumping into life rafts. Our relation-ship was like an industrial steam passenger liner, or a really cool pirate ship. Now our Relation-Ship is a rowboat. But don’t let rowboat give you any ideas. Rowboats can be romantic and intimate. Not this rowboat, its small and dinky. And both of us are tired of rowing. Eventually when the rowboat-ees get too tired of rowing the relationship will be dead. Me and “girl” hit a friendship climax. I made the next move and really screwed things up. So “girl”, this is my formal apolog for. I’m sorry for totally screwing up our friendship. I know that we will probably never be as good of friends as we were. But I can live with that. I just hope that she can, I would be über üpset if I was rejected like that. I realize that I’m probably out of a date for formal now, and that is totally crappy, but I’m not mad at her. Whatever will save our friendship.”

I’m one of those crazy folks who organizes their hard drives to a degree others call crazy.
